We recognize that our definition of 'community' extends far beyond our region, and lend our hands and hearts to providing help wherever it is needed.
Our Church has been a supporter of our local Habitat for Humanity for more than two decades, and teams of laborers - skilled and unskilled! - have helped build dozens of homes around Worcester and Middlesex counties.
Most recently, we have had teams of adults travel to help in Sandy Hook, NJ in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy as well as taking regular trips to New Orleans in the years post-Hurricane Katrina.
Work Camp is one of the most rewarding and inspiring annual events where volunteers from our Senior High Youth Group travel to other states to help fix up homes of those in need. Since the 1990’s a total of 312 youth and adults have traveled over 6,300 miles performing over 8,400 hours of community service fixing up homes for the elderly, handicapped and low income.
